Dog Anatomy: 

        Oklahoma State 4H Skeletal Anatomy worksheet here. 

        A good overview with visuals and explanations for external, muscular, and skeletal anatomy from All Things Dogs here. 

        A detailed description of the skeletal system and how it works from Veterinarian Key here. 

        A set of flashcards for skeletal, muscular, external, internal, and cranial anatomy on Quizlet that I made according to the 4H standards here. 

        A good source with details on how the joints work here. 

Dog Breeds: 

AKC recognizes 197(8?) breeds as of August(5th) 2021. There are 7 breed groups: Sporting, Hound, Terrier, Working, Toy, Herding, & Non-Sporting, as well as Miscellaneous and FSS(Foundation Stock Service; new/pending breeds). FSS is not included in the 197 recognized breeds.

Dog Conformations: 

Conformations are the types of set certain body parts could have, such as the ears or tail. Each breed has a certain set for each body part. For example, the golden retriever has a plume tail.
